Had a fantastic few nights during Christmas for a relaxing getaway and this was the perfect spot. The Chalet is spotless, cosy, and fully equipped with everything you need. The views over the lake were breathtaking, especially during the stunning sunsets. The location offered peace and quiet, allowing us to completely unwind. The host was fantastic, providing personal touches like a bottle of wine and being readily available if needed. We felt looked after and enjoyed the quirky memorabilia that added to the charm of the place.
An extra bit of housekeeping was needed, as we had a dripping tap in the bathroom and a mess of rubbish outside the back door. It would have been nice to have coffee-making facilities, something as simple as a cafetiere would have been great.

Amazing view of the lake, and close proximity to the water. The chalet is warm and cozy with the heating on. there is a nice selection of books and magazines for some leisurely reading.
The DVD player stopped working during our stay, and there were some plumbing issues like a dripping tap in the bathroom. The access to the lake was muddy and filled with cowpats, which made it less enjoyable.

The chalet had stunning views and a great location near the lake. It offered direct access for water activities like kayaking and paddleboarding. It was also well-equipped and had plenty to do in case of bad weather.
There were some maintenance issues, such as a heavily dripping tap in the bathroom. there were no coffee-making facilities available, which would have been a nice touch.
